Art Visit Guide (artvisitguide.com) is a small, independent publication. This page covers what we collect, why, and how to ask us to stop.
What we collect
If you subscribe by email. We use Brevo to send museum guides and updates. We store your email address and, if you gave one, your first name. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, or by emailing us directly.
If you accept the cookie banner. We use Google Analytics to see which guides get read and from where — page views, approximate location (country/city level), device type. This only runs if you click "Accept" on the banner. If you click "Reject" or ignore it, Analytics stays off and only a small essential cookie (avg_consent) is set, to remember your choice.
If you click a booking link. Guides link out to GetYourGuide, Tiqets and Viator for tickets. Clicking one of those links takes you to their site, where their own cookies and privacy policy apply — we don't control or see what they collect. We do log that the click happened (which link, which guide) so we know which guides drive bookings; we don't see whether you completed a purchase.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't run third-party ad networks. We don't share your email with the affiliate partners above.
Your rights
Email [email protected] to ask what we hold on you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We reply within 48 hours.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date below and, for subscribers, say so in an email.
